MAXI MERAKI

Maxi Meraki is a Dj and producer from Antwerp, Belgium. Growing up with music and starting to play records at some local venues. He puts bright tones in his sets and releases, just like he’s known for always being smiling. When you hear this Belgian play you can feel connections between raw disco beats and melodic house: A real symbiosis between the old school sound and new melodic beats. It didn't take a lot of time to start producing his own sounds and release on labels such as Nervous records, ARTWRK, Future Disco, SUDAM Recordings and German Dj Tensnake's True Romance. Maxi Meraki's tracks are supported and played by e.g. Claptone, Roger Sanchez, Todd Terry, BLOND:ISH and Pete Tong on BBC1.
